 Tooth whitening, which is also called as tooth bleaching, is a common procedure in general dentistry but mostly in the field of cosmetic dentistry. White teeth are considered to be an attractive feature of a smile by many people. It is seen that children’s teeth are generally whiter than adult teeth. The teeth often become darker as a person ages, which is due to changes in the mineral structure of the tooth, the enamel becomes less porous. They can also become stained by some bacterial pigments, food & even tobacco. It indicates youth & so preferred by many people world-over.
