 Trench mouth is a poly-microbial infection of the gums which leads to the inflammation, bleeding, and deep ulceration & also the necrotic gum tissue & sometimes even fever can occur. It is caused by organisms like anaerobes such as Bactericides & Fuso-bacterium as well as some spirochetes. This condition is also caused by a lot of established mouth bacteria due to various factors such as poor hygiene, poor diet, smoking & various other infections. It need to be treated, & it can be treated by the simply reducing the bacteria through some methods like oral cleaning & also salt water rinses.
